Terms of Use — Cardinal

Applies to the Cardinal iOS app, the Cardinal Safari Web Extension, and the Cardinal Chrome extension.

The Short Version

Cardinal reads offer and reward information from your card issuers' own websites automatically. We work to keep it accurate, but issuers change their sites and offers constantly, so treat what Cardinal shows as a starting point, not the final word — always confirm an offer's real terms with your issuer before you rely on it for a purchase.

Cardinal isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Chase, American Express, Bank of America, U.S. Bank, or any card issuer. Your issuer sets, approves, and redeems every offer — we just help you find and activate it faster.

01 — Agreement to These Terms

By creating a Cardinal account or using the Cardinal app, Safari extension, or Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use Cardinal.

02 — What Cardinal Does

Cardinal is a tool that helps you find and activate credit card offers, and keep track of them in one place. You can add any card to your wallet to see its cashback and rewards by category. For Chase and American Express, Cardinal's browser extensions can also read offers directly from your issuer's own offers page and activate them for you there, with the activated offer then synced into the Cardinal app — searchable by merchant or category, and mapped to any location. Support for additional issuers is planned.

Cardinal is not a bank, card issuer, or financial institution, does not issue credit, and does not process payments on your behalf. We never ask for or store your bank username or password.

03 — Your Account

You need an account to use Cardinal. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You can sign out at any time from Settings in the app; to delete your account and its data entirely, contact us at the email in Section 13.

04 — Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features of Cardinal require an auto-renewing subscription, purchased through Apple's App Store. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled entirely by Apple under its own terms — Cardinal does not charge your payment method directly and does not receive or store your card number. Your subscription will auto-renew until you cancel it through your Apple ID account settings.

A purchase made on iOS unlocks the corresponding features on the Safari and Chrome extensions as well, tied to the same Cardinal account.

05 — Offer Accuracy Disclaimer

Please read this section — it's one of the most important things in these Terms.

Read before you rely on an offer. Cardinal retrieves offer information by automatically reading your card issuer's website. We work to keep this information accurate, but we do not guarantee it. An offer shown in Cardinal may be expired, capped, restricted to certain purchases or locations, or parsed incorrectly — for example, shown as 5% cash back when the issuer's actual offer is 3%.

Your issuer's own website is always the authoritative source for any offer. Your issuer and the merchant — not Cardinal or LifeFlow AI — set, approve, and redeem every offer. Always verify an offer's terms directly with your issuer before making a purchase decision based on it.

LifeFlow AI is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on offer information displayed in Cardinal, including an offer that turns out to be expired, inaccurate, or unavailable at checkout.

06 — Trademarks and No Affiliation

Cardinal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by American Express, Chase (JPMorgan Chase & Co.), Bank of America, U.S. Bank, or any other card issuer or merchant named or shown in the app. All issuer, card, and merchant names, logos, and trademarks referenced in Cardinal are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the offers and cards they relate to.

Please use Cardinal the way it's meant to be used. In particular, don't:

08 — Disclaimer of Warranties

Cardinal is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that Cardinal will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that offer data will always be accurate or current — see Section 05 above.

09 — Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LifeFlow AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of Cardinal — including, without limitation, losses arising from an inaccurate, expired, or unavailable offer. Our total liability for any claim relating to Cardinal will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10 — Termination

You may stop using Cardinal, and request deletion of your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably possible.

11 — Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above, and note it here if the change is significant. Continuing to use Cardinal after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12 — Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LifeFlow AI operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
